Recognising the Local Heroes who teach our children and prepare them for lifeEducation Week

http://nottsbushido.co.uk/hotstore/Hotsale-20150822-5964.html Today we welcome parents and students from Katoomba Public School to our 10.30am service to celebrate Education Week. This year we’ll not only be showcasing some of the students great talents but also recognising the Local Heroes who teach our children and prepare them for life. Local Hero’s tend not to get much recognition so it’s good to stop and thank those who go the extra mile to serve our kids and equip them for the future.

And we are very grateful to God for those who make sacrifices on our behalf, long hours, staying back, extra preparation, extra patience, extra work to give a quality lesson so our children are well equipped for the challenges that lay ahead of them. True heroism models the Lord Jesus who gave his all for us that we might have a hope not just for the immediate future, but for eternity.
